Bernie Cooper


President and Managing Director

Bernie Cooper has over 40 years of experience in industrial organisations and has been President and Managing Director with Regain since 2011. 

From 2000 to 2010, Bernie was Chief Executive Officer of an Australian based company jointly owned by Siemens AG and Leighton Holdings Limited . This company provided asset management, design, construction, operations and maintenance services across many industries including telecommunications, electrical power, manufacturing, and mining and telecommunications industries.

Prior to 2000, Bernie worked with the Bechtel engineering construction organisation in corporate roles and on a range of development projects including primary aluminium smelters. 

He has qualifications in Engineering and Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers in Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Roy Elliott


 
Operations Manager

Roy has over 17 years experience in operations management and has held positions such as Principle Engineer, Operations Manager, Asset Management Engineer and Maintenance Support Manager. Roy worked as Operations Manager for outsourced maintenance contracts at the Portland Aluminium Smelter in Australia and as Asset Group Manager/Principle Engineer at WorleyParsons.
 
Yves Zimmermann


Strategic Advisor

Dr. Yves Zimmermann has a consultative role in strategic development and Regain's customer support to the cement industry. He joined Regain in 2014 as Vice President - Product Technology and Marketing and was a key person in establishing use of the Regain products in cement plants in the Philippines, Latin America, Morocco and Thailand. 

From 2003 to 2014 he worked with Holcim, the large Swiss-based global building materials and aggregates organisation. He held different positions in Quality Assurance and Product Optimisation with Holcim including Head Quality Assurance / Product Optimisation. 

Yves has qualifications in Chemistry, Economics and Business Administration including a doctorate from the University of Basel in Switzerland.
